As mentioned before when we highlighted Tyla Haley , I am going to shine the light on some of my amazing team and give you a little insight into what they do and some of their personality traits.
This month I present another rock star for Moss Rehabilitation Center, Kim Hilton.
Unlike Tyla, Kim sits front and center and is one of your first points of contact upon entering and leaving our facility. You have no doubt talked to her whether you have called in to schedule or during the checkout process.
Kim is very busy throughout the day answering the phone and setting schedules for new patients, yet always finds time to chat with our patients.
She walks you through the therapy process on your first visit, answers questions and is there in the end when you graduate.
Kim is responsible for making sure your schedule is up to date, calling or texting to remind you of your appointments and taking payments as necessary.
Her key role is making sure you have a great experience with us so don’t be surprised when she asks “how was it”?
She is warm, inviting and easy to talk with, which is why I often see patients just hanging out up front after their sessions talking to her. She freely takes the time to interact with our patients despite all of the other things going on.
Kim has been on the team 3 years as of January. She continues to hone her skills as a patient service representative.
Kim is married to her husband Trent of 31 years and a mother of 2 grown/married children. She is “Mamaw” to 3 grandsons who she reluctantly brings to the office on occasion which gives me the opportunity to feed them “fart” jelly beans.
She loves her job and daily interaction with our patients and her co-workers. Dalene says she is very funny and sarcastic, a blast to be around.
In her free time, Kim enjoys quality time with her family, cooking and always appreciates a good baseball game.
Interesting Facts: Her spirit animal is a sloth, she likes to watch murder shows on the ID channel because “it relaxes me” while she chows down on some salty snacks….maybe this explains the sarcasm!!!
If you have a moment give Kim a shout out and let her know what a good job she is doing.
Seinfeld Character Traits
Well, Kim is definitely George Costanza. It appears we have several Georges in the office. Kim is George due to her frequently mentioning wanting to climb under the desk to take a nap (which George did when he worked for the Yankees) (see spirit animal above) and her obsession with properly installing a roll of toilet paper (over the top)!
She actually went so far as to print out instructions for the team on how to install a roll of toilet paper, making sure it is over the top!
Back story about the character traits.
Welcome to MOSS Rehabilitation Center. While we take our job very seriously and want you to have an exceptional experience, we also like to have a good time while doing it.
When I was in Physical Therapy school I would get together with friends to watch several shows on Thursday night and one of them was Seinfeld.
I became a huge fan and truly enjoyed the wide range of characters that would make appearances on the show from time to time. I enjoyed the stories Kramer would tell and the neurotic behaviors of George Costanza.
At times I feel like the clinic is Jerry’s apartment and the staff are the main characters of the show. All of our clients play supporting roles to this crazy everyday show that happens at the clinic.
MOSS is a real reality show without the drama and a goal of getting you well, with some fun thrown in.
Because of my love of Seinfeld I decided to call our team the “cast of characters” at MOSS Rehabilitation Center. In addition to some serious stuff about us I also wanted to tell you some funny stuff as well. Enjoy!
Robert
PS: All of the narrations for the “character traits” are of my doing.
I hope you have enjoyed learning about one of our team members who works very hard to make sure you have a good experience with us.
I would love to hear about your experience with us. Please leave us a review, send me an email or give me a call.
